“知行合一(zhi1xing2he2yi1)” refer to Knowledge and
action should go hand in hand, another version is walk and talk.
It told us that we
should combine of knowledge and action on learning, living or everything.
In fact, explain that idiom is a really hard work. The reason is
that it came from long time ago and contained rich wisdom and
experience. So I’m afraid to say that I can express it properly.
But I’m pretty sure that trying to comprehend it will increase your
passion and method about studying
Chinese.
If you are learning on
AP Chinese
prep or AP Chinese online
course, you may know that there were a lot
of unique thoughts from a variety of ideologists in ancient China.
The most famous of which is Confucianism from Confucius or Taoism
from Lao-tzu. In spite of their amazing thoughts, both of them
didn’t achieve their dreams about their country and people. For
Wang Yang-Ming(the founder of “知行合一(zhi1xing2he2yi1)”) just not the same. He
had been saved his country, and then some of his followers had
became the backbones of Ming Dynasty.
However the point why we need
to realize this idiom is using it in our life. So, to reach a
higher level on Chinese, you’d better not only read Chinese on
media, but also talk it with Chinese or Chinese amateur from
Chinese school.
